What You must know: World’s Biggest Contemporary African Art Museum Underway in Cape Tow

The world’s biggest museum, The Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa (Zeitz MOCAA),  is currently under construction in Cape Town, Africa. The V&A Waterfront and Jochen Zeitz collaborated to set up this $50 million (36.7 million euro) project. The famous Zeitz collection will be the first exhibition of the museum, where about a space of 6000m² will be available for exhibitors.  

The Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa will welcome its visitors by late 2016.

What you must see: Sculpture of Bogdan Rata


‘The Middle way’, a 3,5 metres high sculpture created by the young artist Bogdan Rata, is being placed in front of St. George’s Hall within Independents Liverpool Biennial 2014. Through his artwork, Bogdan Rata wants to provoke different kinds of  feelings, like the fear, the surprise, the furstration,… “I reinterpret the human body precisely in order to induce a state of confusion to the reader and to in a way force him to understand, from a different perspective, the contemporary human being”(Bogdan Rata).

What you must have: : Collaboration between Nescafe Dolce Gusto and Billy the Artist 

After creating a design for a Swiss watch brand in 2009, the American painter, Billy the Artist collaborated with the famous coffee machine brand, Nescafe Dolce Gusto.

The global launch of this new product took place in Vienna where Billy the Artist did a live show. This limited edition is available in 70 markets around the world.
