On the occasion of the First World War’s centenary, The Käthe-Kollwitz-Museum Berlin exhibits Käthe Kollwitz’s, died in 1945, and the contemporary Hungarian artist Kata Legrady’s artworks during 4 months.

Through their artworks, both artists denounced the causes and the consequences of this devastating war.

While Kata Legrady’s emballished the war’s weapons and equipments, Käthe Kollwitz put emphasis on the human dimension. “Warning” refers to the suffering opposed to the political, national and financial “temptations”.
