What You must see: Video : “Contemporary Chinese art shown across Manchester”

From the 27th of September, Manchester city (UK) has welcomed around 50 artists from 12 countries on the occasion of the Asia Triennial Manchester 2014 in 12 venues of the city. Among the present artists, The Centre for Chinese Contemporary Art is presenting over 30 artists from Taiwan, Hong Kong and mainland China. In this video, prepared by BBC, the curator of this event Jiang Jiehong, explains how the young artists mix usually politics and humour in their artworks. With the theme of Conflict and Compassion , the Asia Triennial Manchester 2014 will take place until the 23th of November 2014.

What you must know: The Contemporary Art Bustours 2014

Very Contemporary organizes from the 25th to the 26th of October 2014, the Contemporary-Art-Bustours in the Meuse-Rhine Region. The travellers will have the opportunity to discover exhibitions and events in several museums and art centers across the border region of Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany. The Contemporary-Art-Bustours will start in every cities of Very Contemporary network.
