Textile Artist | Sculptor | Material Alchemist

Adeline Halot is a Belgian textile artist whose sculptural work fuses the tactile richness of weaving with the architectural sensibility of space and form. Trained in interior architecture and textile design at La Cambre (Brussels), her practice bridges disciplines, drawing equally from craft traditions and contemporary visual art.

Working primarily with raw flax linen and metallic wire, Adeline reimagines weaving as a three-dimensional, almost meditative process. Her pieces emerge as fluid forms—some ethereal, others monumental—evoking geological structures, cellular growth, and the intricate patterns of nature. Through her hands, static materials come to life, capturing movement, tension, and fragility.

“What I’m drawn to in these moments of discovery,” she explains, “are lines, structures, textures, or surfaces. I try to translate the emotion I feel into my textile sculptures—not to imitate nature, but to echo its energy. I see my weavings as living beings: together, the threads come to life to form a new kind of body.”

This philosophy drives her meticulous, intuitive process. Each piece is a dialogue between tension and release, light and matter. Her sculptures don’t just decorate a space—they transform it, creating moments of stillness, curiosity, and quiet awe.

Adeline Halot’s work has been exhibited internationally and is featured in private collections and architectural installations. Whether suspended in air or anchored to a wall, her pieces resonate with both ancient craft and modern design—a conversation between the hand-made and the timeless.
