Bronze Sculpture by Delphine Brabant. The sculpture can be placed inside or outside. A striking example of Delphine Brabant’s mastery of geometric abstraction, this bronze sculpture embodies both strength and balance. Delphine Brabant is a French artist born into a family deeply rooted in artistic tradition, a heritage that continues to shape her sculptural language today. Based in Paris, she has developed a body of work situated at the intersection of architecture, abstraction, and spatial construction.

Her sculptures are characterized by the meticulous assembly of simple geometricforms that create refined architectural lines. Through these compositions,Delphine Brabant explores notions of balance, tension, and verticality. Thedialogue between filled and empty spaces, between shadow and light, plays acentral role in her work, giving her sculptures a vibrant presence and a senseof suspended movement.

The artist approaches each piece with the precision of an architect. Linesinterlock, volumes respond to one another, and structures appear to exist in afragile equilibrium where strength and delicacy coexist. This almost obsessivesearch for balance is accompanied by a willingness to embrace contradiction andinstability as vital components of living form.

Material selection occupies a central place within her practice. DelphineBrabant works with bronze, steel, and concrete as well as more ephemeralmaterials such as clay and plaster. More recently, she has incorporated Cortensteel into monumental works, reinforcing the architectural and mineralqualities of her sculptures.

Highly attentive to the intrinsic qualities of each material — the texture ofwood, the color of plaster, the malleability of clay, or the density of metal —the artist constructs a sculptural language in which matter itself becomes avehicle for emotion and structure.

Inspired by observations of landscapes, Delphine Brabant translates lines, rhythms, and constructions borrowed from the natural world into her sculptures. While her early works featured elongated human silhouettes resembling “forestsof beings,” her practice has gradually evolved toward more abstract andgeometric forms while maintaining a fascination with elevation and balance.

Delphine Brabant’s work ultimately invites viewers to contemplate the subtledialogue between architectural rigor and poetic fragility.
